Customer service was okay overall. I emailed with a question about my order, and it took a couple days to get a response, which felt kind of unnecessary for a simple question. Once they did reply, the answer was helpful, so I can’t really complain too much. I’d probably order again if I needed something, but I do hope they speed up their replies a bit.

Showed up sooner than I thought. Box was in good shape too.

I picked up a few turning blanks recently they were good. The wood showed up clean, cut nicely, and I didn’t run into any weird cracks or hidden surprises once I started working with it. One of the pieces was a little rougher than I expected, but it was still totally usable after a bit of cleanup. Overall, I’m happy with the quality and would order again.

The packaging was alright, I guess. The box showed up a little crushed, so... not the best, but the item itself seemed fine

The site was "easy enough" to use, and I found what I needed without much trouble. A few pages do feel a little dated, but checkout went smoothly for me

I went in hoping to grab a few things, but about half of what I wanted was out of stock. I reached out and support basically said, “Yeah, those items aren’t available right now, but keep checking back,” which was polite enough, just not super helpful when I needed them now.

Am I the only one who expected the refund to come through a bit faster? It did eventually show up, so it wasn’t a huge deal, but the wait was longer than I thought it would be. Not terrible, just a little slow.

I wanted to give them a try, but the prices just felt higher than what I was seeing elsewhere. Then once shipping was added, it really felt like I’d be losing money by ordering from them. I don’t mind paying a bit more if it feels worth it, but this didn’t feel like a fair deal. Unless the pricing gets more reasonable, I’d rather not risk wasting money here again.

I bought a woodturning tool from packardwoodworks.com thinking it’d be decent, but man, this thing was a letdown. I wasn’t expecting some miracle tool, but I did expect it to last longer than a few afternoons in the shop.

After a handful of small projects, the edge was already dull as hell and the handle started feeling loose. I wasn’t abusing it or doing anything crazy either, just normal woodturning stuff, so that was annoying.

For what I paid, this crappy tool should’ve held up way better. Maybe I just got a dud, but either way, it left a bad taste, and I’m not exactly rushing back to buy from them again.
